How do I book?

You can book a photoshoot by submitting an enquiry at the bottom of my website homepage or by emailing me at charleyallisonphotography@gmail.com. 

What happens in a consultation?

My 1-hour consultation for £25 is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another better and discuss your vision for your photoshoot. This can be either an online meeting or in person, and the price is deducted from your final package price. We can discuss locations, outfit choices, poses, venues, backdrops and of course I can provide my expertise and guidance on all of these aspects.

Do you take a deposit?

A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking for all standard packages.

Do you offer friends and family discount?

Yes, I offer a 25% discount off to all friends and family.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in Eastbourne and I travel within East Sussex for portrait sessions. This may incur an extra fee for travel depending on your desired location. I can venture further afield for weddings.

What is your photography style?

My style is natural, relaxed and un-staged with minimal posing. I love to embrace the great outdoors and nature; capturing peoples' unique beauty, love for one another, and hearty smiles.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If you have lived in England for even a short amount of time, you will know that the weather can vary a lot, especially in the winter months. Clients are often surprised that clouds are photographers' friends, but if it is raining heavily, portrait sessions will be postponed to the next available date.

If I am covering your wedding or event, the photography will of course still go ahead - outdoor wedding photographs in the rain can be especially great in wellies with umbrellas! If you're game, so am I! We will also make sure that we have an indoor plan B if the weather is unsuitable.

How many photographs will I receive?

For a 1-hour portrait package you will receive 50+ photographs, for a 30-minute package you will receive 20+ photographs and for full-day wedding coverage you will receive 500+ photographs.

How long will my photographs take?

Turnaround time can vary depending on my current workload, but I estimate a turnaround time of 2 weeks for portrait sessions and 6-8 weeks for weddings.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have insurance, including personal liability and professional indemnity insurance.
